Synethetic Aperture Sonar Processing Software
Available in Real time and off-line 'desktop' versions
The Bloomsbury DSP SAS processing software employs the proprietary algorithms developed by the company. These algorithms address the problems of acoustic motion estimation and SAS imaging in order to deliver a high-performance solution. State-of-the art implementation technologies are used to deliver real-time performance.
The SAS processing 'core' is augmented by a portable GUI, and a range of input and output 'plug-ins' that allow the software to be easily interfaced to new sonar systems. The software includes full geo-referencing capabilities, and is able to output images direct to GIS where appropriate platform navigation data is available.
Real-time versions are supplied with appropriate hardware. The configuration of the hardware is as appropriate for the sonar in question. Contact Bloomsbury DSP to discuss sonar hardware requirements and limitations. Some information is provided on our SAS overview page.
Download the SAS processing product flyer for more information. The user interface provides a number of features, primarily used for system verification and testing:
- SAS-Specific image display component, with full geo-location at the cursor position
- Displays of raw and pulse compressed acoustic data
- Displays of estimated surge, sway and yaw motion, either ping-to-ping or integrated
- MATLAB-compatible IO for system testing
- Off-line array auto-calibration
- Array beam plots
- Standard output interfaces include Triton XTF and Google Earth
A flexible Solution
